Frequently asked
On iPhone, scroll the row of apps in the Share menu all the way to the right and turn it on under “More”. On Mac, open System Settings → General → Login Items & Extensions, scroll to “Extensions”, choose “By Category”, then click ⓘ next to “Sharing” and turn on Keepshelf. macOS turns off sharing for newly installed apps at first.
On Mac, select the photos in Photos and drag them onto the Keepshelf window. Several at once work too.
Check that both devices are signed in to iCloud with the same Apple Account. Keep the app open and the cards arrive shortly. Photos can take a little longer than text because of their size.
Tap “Select” at the top, choose the cards, then use “Move to Folder” or the Trash button in the bar below. On Mac you can also use ⌘-click, Shift-click and ⌘A.
Open the Trash at the end of the folder chips to restore it. Cards stay in the Trash for 30 days.
Locked folders open with Face ID or Touch ID (or your device passcode). Only you can open them on your device; the developer has no way to unlock them.
Open the card, tap the Share button at the top and choose “Save Image” (“Photos” on Mac). The first time, you'll be asked whether it can add to Photos. The card stays in Keepshelf.
Keepshelf follows your device's first language. To choose yourself, go to Settings → View → Language in the app. The change applies the next time you open the app.
It sends a card to Read Anything, another app from the same developer, so you can hear it read aloud. If you don't have that app, its App Store page opens. Keepshelf works fully without it.
Only to your devices and your own iCloud. Nothing is sent to the developer's servers. See the Privacy Policy for details.
